THS Constructors, Inc, one of the Southeast’s leading design-build construction firms, has been awarded the contract for the design and construction of a 48,000 sf expansion at the VELUX facility in Greenwood, SC. VELUX provides skylights and roof windows through home centers, building material suppliers, lumberyards and independent door, window, and roofing retailers. The expansion will be an addition to the existing 82,000 sf facility.
Design of the expansion is underway with a scheduled groundbreaking in July of 2020. The project scope includes sitework, site utilities, concrete and asphalt pavements, concrete slab on grade and loading dock positions. New offices and restrooms are also being added inside the expanded plant area.
