Trelleborg Wheel Systems

Trelleborg selected THS Constructors to execute a major expansion and renovation of its agricultural tire production facility. The project included a 70,000-square-foot addition and a 90,000-square-foot renovation of the existing building. A central feature of the scope was the construction of a massive concrete trench measuring approximately 240 feet long, 60 feet wide, and 30 feet deep, designed to accommodate several 125-ton tire presses. Due to the site’s topography, significant rock blasting and excavation were required to achieve the necessary elevation for the tire press pit. In addition to the production space, the project included the build-out of office facilities, complete with conference rooms, private offices, kitchen and break areas, restrooms, and open workspaces designed for cubicles.
