THS Constructors, Inc. was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the second year in a row by SC Biz News and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. THS placed third at the sixteenth annual ceremony that took place on Thursday, August 5th in Columbia, SC.
The survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 81 total companies throughout South Carolina. President & CEO, Dana Emberton said of the honor, “We have worked hard to ensure that our employees have every opportunity to grow and succeed with the company, and that each person feels valued and supported. This is an honor that showcases our dedication to growth and success on all levels of business.”
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the companies and the final ranking. Following the submissions, Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
