THS Constructors completed a new 73,000-square-foot facility for Raumedic, marking the company’s first U.S.-based manufacturing operation. The project included the construction of ISO Class 7 and 8 clean rooms to support the production of medical device components through extrusion and injection molding.

A critical component of the project was value engineering. THS successfully reduced overall project costs by nearly $1 million, enabling the client to invest in additional facility upgrades during construction. The scope also included all process-related systems, including cooling water, contact water, compressed air, and electrical distribution to support 14 extrusion and injection molding machines within the clean room environment.

Headquartered in Germany, Raumedic specializes in the manufacturing of high-precision injection molded and extruded polymer components for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. The company employs approximately 600 people and is part of the REHAU Group, a global polymer solutions provider with 18,000 employees worldwide.
