KRA’s original South Carolina facility marked the company’s first venture into the state.

KRA’s initial facility in South Carolina marked the company’s entry into the state, supporting production for Samsung washing machines assembled in Newberry, SC. The 105,000-square-foot plant—dedicated to manufacturing stamped metal and plastic injection-molded components was completed in just 10 months from concept to construction. Located on a 15-acre site, the facility included 101,000 square feet of production, stamping, and storage space, along with 4,000 square feet of office space.

The company later undertook a major expansion, adding 215,000 square feet to the facility. The addition featured a structural steel frame with metal panel siding and included a first floor, mezzanine level, and a new office area at the front of the building.
